Revolutionary Road
From the opening scene the mood was tense and emotional, revolving around the relationship of the two main characters, a young married couple, Frank and April Wheeler. This movie was very thought provoking and left you wondering at the end, what if they had taken a different path then the one they did. It reminded you that life is short, and too many of us get stuck in a job or a relationship where we are clearly not happy, but we are comfortable and afraid to try something new. I have learned that when you are miserable in your life, the choice is ours to stay miserable, or to take steps to do something about it. Not doing so will leave you unfulfilled and empty. It can be scary to venture out of your comfort zone, but often if you try and make that first step, the universe will open up for you. Title: Revolutionary Road Director: Sam Mendes Genre: Drama Starring: Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio Writers: Richard Yates (Novel) Justin Haythe (Screenplay) Released: 2008
