“The Guitar” is the directorial debut of Amy Redford, and yes she is the daughter of actor Robert Redford.

This is definitely an adult movie as it has a lot of female nudity and sexual content, however, it was not lewd or offensive and it was very well done.  Saffron Burrows is a beautiful and talented actress and much of the movie was unscripted.

The plot revolved around Melody Wilder (played by Saffron Burrows) who just found out that she had only two months to live.  The day she was given her death sentence, she lost both her job and her boyfriend.

All alone, she rents a vacant penthouse for the next two months and racks up her credit cards to make herself comfortable while she awaits death.

This is definitely a movie I would watch again as I found it creative, inspiring and thought provoking.

Life has a way of giving and taking, however,  you have to be open to receiving and sometimes ready to let go.

And, if you follow your passion, you usually end up finding happiness as well as  your life fulfilled.
