The informational markers along the trails in the Wetlands Park identify these birds as Gambling Quail. The closest I found on a Google search was Gamble Quail, so maybe these particular Quail have a Las Vegas twist.
They aren’t strangers to this park at all and you’re almost guaranteed to see a few on each visit [...]
